William "Billy" Gibson, Sr.

Pembroke/Savannah- William “Billy” Terry Gibson, Sr., age 46, passed away Wednesday, June 30, 2021 at St. Joseph’s Hospital.  Billy was born June 17, 1975 in Orange Park, FL to the late Terry Eugene Gibson and Mrs. Pamela Sarver Pierce.  Mr. Gibson was 1997 graduate of Bryan County High School and was a carpenter.  He loved to build and enjoyed playing basketball.

Survivors include his wife, Christina Gibson of Blitchton; mother, Pamela Sarver Pierce of Pembroke; two sons, William “Will” Terry Gibson, Jr. of Blitchton and Dillon Christopher Gibson of Blitchton, two daughters, Christian Taylor Gibson of Savannah and Caitlyn Marie Gibson of Blitchton; maternal grandmother, Thelma Sarver of Brunswick; brother, Steven Everett Pittman of Pembroke and Kimberly Elaine Walker of Ellabell; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Robert and Susan Sikes of Blitchton; four grandsons and three uncles.

A memorial service will be held 3 P.M. Tuesday, July 6, 2021 in the chapel of Flanders Powell Funeral Home.
