Wanda Aldrich Callaway

Pembroke- Mrs. Wanda Aldrich Callaway, age 72 passed away Sunday, May 26, 2024 at Camellia Health and Rehabilitation in Claxton.   Mrs. Callaway was born in Pembroke, GA to the late Freddie and Lillian NeSmith Aldrich.  Wanda was of the Methodist Faith and enjoyed arts and crafts.   She had a wonderful sense of humor, loved time with her family and loved her church.  In addition to her parents, Mrs. Callaway was preceded in death by her husband, Rufus Callaway; her sister, Brenda France; one nephew, Joseph France; one great nephew, Danny Arthur and two great nieces, Melissa and Heather Arthur.

 

Survivors include her sister, Glenda Hewitt; brothers-in-law, Keith (Shirley) Loveday and Jesse (Marcia) France; nieces and nephews, Sherry (Derrick) Arthur, Steve (Robyn) Martin, Jack (Mita) Martin, Jason Martin, Treva (Clifford) Hall and Treena (J.T.) Hewitt and several great nieces and nephews.

 

Visitation will be 10-11 A.M. Saturday, June 1, 2024 at the funeral home.  

 

Funeral service will be 11 A.M. Saturday, June 1, 2024 in the chapel of Flanders Powell Funeral Home with interment to follow in Ash Branch Cemetery
