Mrs. Tonya Leigh Cowart, 40, passed away at her residence on Wednesday morning with her
family by her side. Mrs. Cowart was in born Statesboro, GA on July 10, 1975 to Jimmy Littleton
and Peggy Parrish Littleton. She worked at Savannah/Hilton Head International Airport as a
clerk and enjoyed playing cards and spending time with her dogs.
She is preceded in death by her husband of 7 years, James C. Cowart.
She is survived by her two sons, Jonathan Wade Emeott and his wife Stephanie of Ellabell and
Colin Ray of Ellabell; parents, Jimmy Littleton and Peggy Parrish Littleton of Ellabell.
Graveside service will be held on Monday, March 21, 2016 at 11 a.m. at Harville Baptist Church
Cemetery with Reverend Jim Rogers and Pastor John O’Neil officiating.
