Pembroke—Mr. Tommie Lee “Meme” Raffield, Jr. age 52 passed away Sunday October 12, 2014 at Evans Memorial Hospital. Mr. Raffield formerly of Millen was a Crane Operator with Owens Steel of Georgia. He loved fishing and 4-wheel drive vehicles, racing dirt track, and sitting at Huddle House drinking coffee. He was preceded in death by his father Tommie Lee Raffield, Sr. and brother Samuel Dean Raffield.
He is survived by mother Mary “Pat” Williams Mixon of Pembroke, brother and sister-in-law Bruce Edward and Shannon Raffield of Barnwell, S.C., sister and brother-in-law Sammie “Sam” and Johnnie Cleland of Pembroke,; and several nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.
Visitation is 5-8 P.M. Wednesday October 15, 2014 at the funeral home. Funeral service will be 2 P.M. Thursday October 16, 2014 in the chapel of the funeral home with Pastor Stan Tyson officiating. Interment will follow in Lawrence Baptist Cemetery. Flanders Morrison Funeral Home of Pembroke is in charge of arrangements.
