Thomas Alec White

Nevils- Thomas Alec White, age 86, passed away Monday, November 6, 2023.  Mr. White was born in Shawnee, GA to the late Kelsey White and Minnie Cozetta Jordan White.  Mr. White was a carpenter and cabinet maker for many years and enjoyed woodworking.  Mr. White was also a welder, small engine mechanic, and love to hunt, fish and be outdoors.  In addition to his parents, Mr. White was preceded in death by 11 brothers and a sister.

Survivors include his wife, Betty E. White of Nevils; three daughters, Wanda White Ellis, Sandra White Moody and Margie Metcalf;  two stepchildren, Angela Faye Linto and Troy Felda Godbee; 11 grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

Visitation will be held 9-10 A.M. Friday, November 10, 2023 at Flanders Powell Funeral Home. 

A graveside service will be held at 11 A.M. Friday, November 10, 2023 at Corinth Cemetery in Shawnee, GA with Rev. Tammy Fincher and Pastor Danny Atkinson officiating.
