Steven Michael “Uncle Steve” Vaughn, Sr. age 57 passed away Saturday, January 14, 2017. Mr. Vaughn was born in Savannah on Dec. 11, 1959 to the late James Randall Vaughn and Josephine Faircloth Vaughn Hall. He was a long-time resident of Black Creek and worked at Rite-Way Upholstery. He loved family time, was a NASCAR fan, enjoyed billiards and was the life of the party.
Survivors include his daughter Joanna Nicole Vaughn (Michael Gonzalez); two sons Steven Michael “Buster” Vaughn, Jr. of Black Creek and James Robert “Robbie” (Mary Ann) Vaughn of Brooklet; sisters, Darlene (Ricky) Dickey, Cathy (Dan) Thompson, and Susie (Jimmy) Criswell all of Black Creek; 15 grandchildren and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 17, 2017 at the funeral home.
Funeral service will be 11 a.m. Wed. in the chapel of Flanders Morrison Funeral Home with interment to follow in Northside Cemetery.
