Stephen Brent Smith

Mr. Stephen Brent Smith, age 50, of Hinesville Georgia, left this earthly life for his eternal rest on Friday March 8, 2024.

Brent was born on July 25, 1973, in Tarboro, NC to Ocie Glenn Smith and Jennifer Taylor Rivenbark.

He was preceded in death by his mother Jenny Taylor Rivenbark, his Uncle David Wood, and his beloved grandmother Margaret Davis.

He is survived by his loving daughter, Becca Carter of Indiana; Father Ocie Glenn Smith: sister, Melissa Tosto; stepfather Wayne Tosto; granddaughter Kayleigh Nelson; His “Aunt Deb” and husband Ricky Bryant; cousins Jamie Wood and fiancée Jenny Cheng, Seth Wood and wife Nicole, and numerous extended family and friends who loved him very much.

Brent enjoyed helping others and being a friend. He loved to fish and being outdoors. Gathering with family and friends for cook outs was a favorite activity of his, and he looked forward to those special times. He loved remodeling and making things beautiful again. Drawing and art were a favorite past time. Brent worked at Target Distribution Center and doing construction work. He was good at a lot of things. Brent had a big heart and was a good man. He would give you give you the shirt off his back if you needed it. Treasured memories will forever live in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.

A celebration of Life Service will be held at a later date. His family would like to thank all his friends in Georgia for being there for him.
