South Effingham- Shane Anthony Boys, age 25, passed away Tuesday, May 27, 2014. Shane was a brick mason by trade and was a member of Sandhill Baptist Church. He was an avid fisherman and loved gathering family and friends for cookouts and trips to the river.
Survivors include two daughters Mackenzie Lee Boys of Effingham and Raylyn Boys of Garden City; parents Bobby and Ria Boys; brother Dylan Boys; sister Tonya Boys; grandmother Elaine Boys all of Effingham; grandfather Max Boys of Anderson, IN; best friend Matt Bailey and many aunts, uncles, cousins and a niece, Kylie Rawlings.
Visitation will be 3-6 P.M. Friday, May 30, 2014 at Flanders Morrison Funeral Home. Funeral service will be 6 P.M. Friday, May 30 in the chapel of Flanders Morrison Funeral Home with Rev. Royce Hendry officiating. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial contribution may be made to John’s Place, 4 West Altman Street, Statesboro, GA 30455. Flanders Morrison Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
