Roy E. Davis

Pembroke-  Roy Earl Davis, age 87, passed away Sunday, September 17, 2023 at his home.  Mr. Davis was born in Soperton, GA to the late Furman Davis and Ola Mae Smith Davis.  He was retired as a heavy equipment mechanic with over 50 years of service with Tri State Tractor Company.  He was a hard worker and enjoyed fishing and bird hunting.  Mr. Davis was of the Baptist Faith and served Army National Guard.  In addition to his parents, Mr. Davis was preceded in death by two sons, Russell Allen Davis and Herbert Ronald “Ronnie” Davis; and one brother, Marlin C. Davis.

Survivors include his wife of 69 years, Shelba Davis of Pembroke;
