Roxie Duncan

Hinesville-  Mrs. Roxie Estelle Sellars Duncan, age 77, passed away Saturday, March 20, 2021 at her home while under hospice care.  Mrs. Duncan was born in Fairmont, NC to the late Jessie Sellars and Ollie Roxie Patterson Sellars.  She loved cruises, playing bingo and was a tireless volunteer at nursing homes and through her service as chaplain of the Ladies Auxiliary of American Legion Post 168.

Survivors include her husband of 62 years, Val Duncan of Hinesville; three sons, Bruce Duncan of Hinesville, Jesse Duncan of Greenville, SC and James Duncan of Augusta, GA; one daughter, Barbara Ann Duncan Hearn of Hinesville; two brothers, Edward Sellars of Dunn, NC and Donnie Sellars of Ohio; three sisters-in-law, Blanche Sellars, Nora Lambert and Mary Litzen; grandchildren, Pamela McLain, Daniel Schomburg, Felisha Sanker, Kristen Renz, Ashleigh Rajewski, Vincent Duncan, and Julieann Duncan; 13 great grandchildren and many other extended family members.

A memorial service will be announced at a later date.
