Rocky Hewitt

Mr. Rocky Lavelle Hewitt, age 65, passed away at his residence on Friday, December 2, 2022. Mr. Hewitt was born in Valdosta, GA to Robert Hayden Hewitt and Mary Mosley Lollis on March 28, 1957. He worked for 25 years as a painter and enjoyed refinishing old furniture, fishing and spending time with his family.

He is preceded in death by his biological father, Robert Hayden Hewitt and his step father, Harry Mosley.

Survivors include his mother, Mary Mosley Lollis of Ellabell; four siblings, Marilyn Arroyo and her husband Antonio of Gainesville, FL, Tony Hewitt and his wife Debbie of Collins, Judy Bashlor of Ellabell and Ernie Mosley and his wife Scheryl of Indianapolis, IN.

Visitation will be held on Monday, December 5, 2022 from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. at Flanders Powell Funeral Home.

Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, December 6, 2022 at 1:00 p.m. in the Flanders Powell Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Tony Hewitt officiating.

Burial will follow at Lower Black Creek Cemetery.
