Robin Wilkes

Pembroke- Robin O’Neal Wilkes, age 53 passed away Saturday, February 20, 2021 at St. Joseph’s Hospital after a sudden illness.  Robin attended H.E. McCracken High School in Hardeeville, SC.  She was the co-owner of O’Neal’s Income Tax and Business Services of Pembroke, GA that she ran with her late mother, Janell O’Neal.  Robin enjoyed cooking, fishing and spending time with her family.  She especially loved being “Gigi” to her grandchildren.

Mrs. Wilkes was preceded in death by her mother, Janell O’Neal and son-in-law, Roger Burdette, III.

Survivors include her husband of 26 years, Richard Wilkes of Pembroke; father, Rev. Harold O’Neal of Pembroke; daughters, Jennifer (Doug) Highsmith of Port Wentworth, Brandi (Donald) Wagner of Port Wentworth and Stephanie Burdette of Rincon; eight grandchildren, Bradley, Kaleb, Travis, Tyler, Dawson, Ryland, Kenzie and Ellie; sister, Gail Porter of Pembroke; brothers, Buddy (Chrissy) O’Neal of Ludowici and Doug (Sonya) O’Neal of Richmond Hill and many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held 6-8 p.m. Friday, February 26, 2021 at Flanders Powell Funeral Home.

Funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, February 27, 2021 in the Morrison Memorial Chapel with Rev. Jesse France officiating.

Interment will follow in Northside Cemetery.
