Pembroke-Mrs. Phyllis Ann Vincent age 58 passed away Monday September 1, 2014 in the presence of her loving family. Mrs. Vincent was a long-time resident of Pembroke and a member of Southland Baptist Church where she was the choir director and involved in the Lady’s Circle. She was a song writer, loved singing and playing the keyboard, but she especially loved playing her guitar. She enjoyed puzzles, four wheelers and fishing. She was preceded in death by her husband Walter Samuel Vincent and her parents David James and Ruth Kah Morris.
She is survived by sons Walter Sam Vincent III of Ellabell, Gregory Vincent of SC, Joseph Brian Vincent of OH, and Billy Joe Vincent of DEL, and daughters Dorine Elzey of PA, Maelynn Discua of FL, and Samantha Vincent of Pembroke; and a brother Willard Morris of DEL, 26 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren.
Visitation is 9 A.M.—12 Noon Thursday, September 4, 2014 at the funeral home. Graveside service will be 1 P.M. Thursday, September 4, 2014 at Lane’s Chapel Primitive Baptist Church in Brooklet, GA with Reverend Grady Sikes officiating. Flanders Morrison Funeral Home of Pembroke is in charge of arrangements.
