Brooklet- Peggy Jean Biggers Kicklighter, age 70 passed away Sunday, January 23, 2022 at Ogeechee Area Hospice. Mrs. Kicklighter was born December 12, 1951 in Metter, Georgia to the late Howard Biggers and Margie Hobgood Biggers. She was a domestic housekeeper working for Suzette’s Cleaning Service and was of the Baptist Faith. Mrs. Kicklighter enjoyed fishing and shopping. She enjoyed garage sales and loved her time with her grandchildren who affectionately called her “PP”. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Kicklighter was preceded in death by two brothers, Danny Biggers and Jimmy Biggers and one sister, Shelby Owens.
Survivors include one son and daughter-in-law, Ronald and Shimesha Kicklighter of Vidalia; three daughters and a son-in-law, Rhonda Demers of Escanaba, MI, Margie and Shea Roberts of Kershaw, SC and Buffy Russell of Knoxville, TN; two brothers, Larry Bigger of Statesboro and Terry Bigger of Metter; two sisters, Sue Cannon of Ellabell and Karen Hutchinson of Vidalia; companion, Leonard “lee” Weinberg of Brooklet; 14 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends 1-3 P.M. Thursday, January 27, 2022 at the funeral home. A memorial service will follow 3 P.M. Thursday, January 27, 2022 in the chapel of Flanders Powell Funeral Home.
