Pauline Veenstra

Bloomingdale-  Mrs. Essie Pauline Vincent Veenstra, age 82, passed away Saturday, June 10, 2023.  Mrs. Veenstra was born March 1, 1941 in Savannah, Georgia to the late John Daniel Vincent and Ailene Harvey Vincent.  Mrs. Veenstra was retired from retail sales and was a member of the Pooler Senior Center and the Red Hatters.  She loved her time with her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren and enjoyed fishing, crafts, sewing, yard sales and bingo.  In addition to her parents, Mrs. Veenstra was preceded in death by one son, James Daniel Sheffield; four brothers, Lonnie Vincent, Harold Vincent, Larry Vincent and Sammy Vincent and one sister, Doris Wiggins.

Survivors include one daughter, Dorothy Paulette Sheffield of Bloomingdale; three sons, Charles Ray Sheffield, David R. Veenstra and Edward A. Vennstra, all of Bloomingdale; one brother, Donald Vincent of Eden; 13 grandchildren, Christina Sheffield, James Daniel Sheffield, Jr., Christopher Thomas Sheffield, Christopher D. Veenstra, Samantha Veenstra, Jennifer Veenstra, Katrina Ellis, Cecil Tyler Ray, Donovein Everett, Jason Scott, Dylan Driggers, Kayla Driggers and Elizabeth Everett; 10 great grandchildren and expecting two more. 

A memorial service will be held 1 P.M. Friday June 16, 2023 in the chapel of Flanders Powell Funeral Home.
