Mrs. Nina Mays, 65, passed away Wednesday afternoon at her residence. Mrs. Mays was born on July 21, 1950 to the late Ivan and Maria Parashutnik Solomko in Vienna, Austria. She was a loving wife and mother always making sure she was available to help and care for anyone that was in need. She was a very strong, kind and loving woman. She never put herself infront of someone else. She spent her time helping others through their hard times. She had the biggest, truest heart.
She is preceded in death by her husband of 38 years, James Porter Mays and one son, Michael David Mays.
Survivors include one daughter, Lisa Jean Sampson and her husband Michael; one son, James Franklin Mays and his wife Rachel; three brothers, John Solomko, Michael Solomko and William Solomko two sisters, Hilda Arnold and Patty Pate; three grandchildren, Jordan M. Mays, Ryan P. Mays and Kendall M. Mays. Also surviving are numerous friends and family members that have always had a special place in her heart, each unique to her in their own way.
Celebration of Life Service for Mrs. Nina Mays will be private.
