Ellabell- William Burton Shaw, age 90, died Tuesday, August 7, 2012. Mr. Shaw was retired as an inspector with the United States Civil Service. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy, having served during WWII, a long-time member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars and was a member of Ellabell Methodist Church. Mr. Shaw was preceded in death by his parents Edgar Nix and Bertha Shaw and his wife Marguarete Hendry Shaw.
Survivors include one son Lester T. Eudy of Arizona and one daughter Linda Dianne Drummond of Oklahoma; six grandchildren; numerous great and great great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation will be 5-7 P.M. Sunday at the funeral home. Graveside service will be 11 A.M. Monday August 13, 2012 in Ellabell Methodist Church Cemetery with Rev. Joe Leatherwood officiating. Flanders Morrison Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements. Flandersmorrisonfuneralhome.com
