Blitchton-Mrs. Thelma Peck Kangeter age 86 passed away Tuesday December 11, 2012 at Eagle Health & Rehab., surrounded by her loving family. Mrs. Kangeter was a longtime resident of Ellabell and a member of the First Baptist Church of Blitchton. She was a seamstress and enjoyed her work and being with her family. She was predeceased by her husband of 24 years George "Bill" I. Kangeter, and her parents "Bay" Robert Hinson and Ruth C. Warren Peck.
Survivors include sons and daughter-in-law Larry I. Kangeter of Blitchton,and Steve A. and Vicki Kangeter of Manassas; daughters and son-in-law Patricia K. Branson of Statesboro and Janice "Jan" K. and Tommy Rogers of Blitchton, sister Evelyn Peck Cheek of Cornelia and six grandchildren and one great grandchild.
Visitation will be 6-8 P.M. Wednesday, Dec. 12, 2012 at the funeral home. Funeral service will be 11 A.M. Thursday in the chapel with Reverend Darnell Barner officiating. Interment will follow at Lower Black Cemetery in Ellabell. Flanders Morrison Funeral Home of Pembroke is in charge of arrangements.
