Pembroke-Mrs. Mary Futch Burnsed age 86 passed away Friday January 11, 2013 at Camellia Health and Rehab. while surrounded by her loving family. Mrs. Burnsed had lived all of her life in Pembroke and was of the Baptist Faith. She was an excellent cook and took great pride in keeping her house clean. She was predeceased by her parents Grover Cleveland and Ester Shuman Futch, brothers Alva, Cecil, and G. C. Futch, sisters Verna Pevey, Odell Walters, and Latrell Ledford and Gloria Futch; son Freddie Burnsed, grandchildren Becky and Fred Burnsed.
She is survived by three sons and daughter-in-laws Hannie "Buddy" and Lavone Burnsed, Jr., Joey Burnsed, Joanne Burnsed, and Johnny and Jane Burnsed all of Pembroke; five grandchildren Kathy Williams, Debbie Davis, Myra Ammermon, and Jared and Joel Burnsed, great-grandchildren Adelyn Ammermon and Becky Williams, several nieces and nephews; and Family Pet Mattie.
Visitation is 3-6 P.M. Sunday January 13, 2013 at the funeral home. Graveside service will be 2 P.M. Monday January 14, 2013 at Northside Cemetery with Reverend Dan Bryant officiating. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to: Ogeechee Area Hospice, P.O. Box 531, Statesboro, GA. 30459. Flanders Morrison Funeral Home of Pembroke is in charge of arrangements
