Hinesville-Mrs. Karen Rae Lewis age 77 passed away Monday March 25, 2013 at Ogeechee Area Hospice in Statesboro. Mrs. Lewis was of the Presbyterian Faith and had been a loan officer with Weyerhaeuser Credit Union for over 25 years. She loved tracing genealogy and was an avid reader. She is predeceased by her parents Edward and Aliss Todd Chase.
She is survived by sons and daughter-in-laws Shaun and Brandi Lewis of Statesboro, Matt and Tracie Lewis of Hinesville, Mike Ellsworth and Marty Ellsworth; daughter Pam Ellsworth, sister Aliss Lynn Lewis of Oregon; eight grandchildren Devyn, Justin, Hope, Tori, Kristin, Alyssa, Gage, and Brianna.
Memorial service will be 6 P.M. Saturday March 30, 2013 in the chapel of the funeral home with Pastor Stan Tyson officiating. Flanders Morrison Funeral Home of Pembroke is in charge of arrangements. www.flandersmorrisonfuneralhome .com
