Pembroke-Mrs. Johnnie F. Cobb age 87 passed away Wednesday December 26, 2012 at her home. Mrs. Cobb was a long time resident of Pembroke and a retired seamstress from Claxton and Pembroke Manufacturing Companies. She loved quilting, sewing, and was an excellent cook known for her biscuits and hushpuppies. She was predeceased by her husband Nathan Cobb and her parents, three brothers and three sisters.
She is survived by five sons Jerry, Nathan, Danny, Kenny, and Larry Cobb, three daughters Joann Schroeder and Gail Arnsdoff, sister Lois Royal; 16 grandchildren, and numerous great grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren.
Visitation is 5-8 P.M. Saturday December 29, 2012 at the funeral home. Funeral service will be 2 P.M. Sunday December 30, 2012 in the chapel with Reverend Dan Bryant officiating. Interment will follow in Beulah Baptist Church Cemetery. Flanders Morrison Funeral Home of Pembroke is in charge of arrangements.
