Brooklet-Mrs. Annie Lucille Smith Robertson age 83 passed away Sunday May 4, 2014 at East Georgia Regional Medical Center. Mrs. Robertson was formerly of Savannah and was a member of South Newington Baptist Church. Annie spent her entire life enjoying fishing and putting her heart and love into cooking and baking for friends and family. She was predeceased by her husband of over 57 years Jasper "Bege" Robertson and daughter Linda Darnell Messex.
She is survived by son and daughter-in-law Jimmy Vance and Kim Robertson of Savannah, three daughters and sons-in-laws Shirley Ann and Charles E. Coleman, Jr. of Ellabell, Alethea Faye and Sidney Hicks of Savannah, and Patricia Ann and Stanley Allmond of Brooklet, and Sassy her dog and constant companion since 2009; 19 grandchildren and 29 great and 5 great-great grandchildren.
Visitation is 6-9 P.M. Friday May 9, 2014 at the funeral home. Funeral service will be 11 A.M. Saturday May 10, 2014 at South Newington Baptist Church with Reverend Steve McCoy officiating.
