Mrs. Annette Whitfield

Ellabell- Annette Thigpen Whitfield, age 75 died Friday afternoon April 5, 2013 at St. Joseph's Hospital. Mrs. Whitfield worked at B & B Paint Company in Savannah for many years and retired from Maycrest Hardware. She was a long-time resident of Ellabell, was a member of the Baptist Faith and always put family ahead of herself.

Survivors include her son Anthony Whitfield of Ellabell; sister Marian Hartsfield of Lyons; grandchildren Amanda Leigh Griffin of Ellabell, Melinda Leigh Whitfield of Pembroke, and Robert Whitfield of Pooler; one great grandson Mason Robert Griffin and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held 3-6 P.M. Sunday April 7, 2013 at the funeral home. Funeral services will be 2 P.M. Monday April 8, 2013 in the chapel of Flanders Morrison Funeral Home with burial to follow in Ellabell United Methodist Cemetery.
