Mrs. Judy Mae Hewitt Bashlor

Mrs. Judy Mae Hewitt Bashlor, age 69, passed away at her residence surrounded by her family on Thursday, March 23, 2023. Mrs. Bashlor was born on January 6, 1954 to Bobby Hewitt and Mary Lane Lollis in Savannah. She was a member of Faith Harvest Sanctuary Church of God and worked for 15 years with Billy Bashlor Trucking. Mrs. Bashlor enjoyed spending time with her mother, children and grandchildren. She enjoyed watching western movies, window shopping and decorating with her daughter-in-law and best friend, Linda Holcombe.

She is preceded in death by her father, Bobby Hewitt; brother, Rocky Hewitt; step-dad, Roy Lollis and two grandsons, Zack Holcombe and David Robert Holcombe.

Survivors include her three sons, Leslie Holcombe and his fiancé, Lynn Shuman of Pembroke, Bruce Holcombe of Pembroke and David Holcombe and his wife Linda of Ellabell; two brothers, Ernie Mosley and his wife Scheryl of Mooresville, IN and Tony Hewitt and his wife Debbie of Cobbtown; one sister, Marilyn Arroyo and her husband Tony of Gainesville, FL; twelve grandchildren, Jasmine Levi Haley, Brianna Holcombe, Emmie Mae Holcombe, Aaron Black, Talor Holcombe, Jacob Holcombe, Savannah Holcombe, Leslie Holcombe, Jr., Lacey Holcombe, Brittany Holcombe, Kevin Holcombe and Christian Holcombe; several great grandchildren including Kyson Haley and Gunner Haley; niece, Karisha Ammons; two nephews, Trey Hewitt and Ian Arroyo and very close great niece, Amelyse Arroyo Kushmaul.

Visitation will be held on Monday, March 27, 2023 from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. at Flanders Powell Funeral Home.

Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, March 28, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. in the Flanders Powell Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Tony Hewitt officiating.

Burial will follow at Lower Black Creek Cemetery.
