Mrs. Catherine Lillian Davis, age 88, passed away on Friday, April 14, 2023 at Magnolia Manor of Midway. Mrs. Davis was born in Bulloch County on December 31, 1934 to the late Arthur A. and Susan Murray Nubern. She was a loving and caring house wife and was a longtime member of Beulah Baptist Church. Mrs. Davis enjoyed dancing, fishing and playing solitaire on her computer for many hours online with friends.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband of 20 years, William Davis; three brothers, Arthur Nubern, Jr., Autis Nubern and Franklin Nubern and two sisters, Doris Parrish and Norma Bath.

Survivors include her daughter, Sandy Kay Tucker of Clyo; two stepsons, Billy Davis of Pt. Wentworth and Anthony Davis and his wife Carolyn of Savannah; two grandchildren, Kelly Tucker and Christopher Tucker; five great grandchildren, Avery Tucker, Raliegh Tucker, Jeffery Waller, Corey Waller and Kimberly Waller and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 18, 2023 from 11:00 – 12:00 p.m. at Flanders Powell Funeral Home.

Funeral service will follow at 12:00 p.m. in the Flanders Powell Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Dan Bryant officiating.

Burial will be held at 3:00 p.m. in the Hillcrest Abbey West Cemetery in Savannah.
