Stilson-Mr. Ruebin Lee Adkins age 54 passed away Wednesday January 15, 2014 at East Georgia Regional Hospital. Mr. Adkins had been a floor cover installer for over 30 years and was a member of Olive Branch Baptist Church. He loved sports especially volleyball and horseshoes and family time. He was preceded in death by his parents J. D. and Mary Evelyn Holmes Adkins.
He is survived by his wife of 36 years Vickie Seymore Adkins of Stilson, two sons and daughter-in-laws David and Dawn Seymore of Seaford, DE, and Nicholas Lee and Brandi Adkins of Stilson, and daughter and son-in-law Melissa Sue Adkins and Brandon Cook of Stilson; a brother Luther Adkins of Sylvester, GA., four sisters Hazel Pippin of Rincon, Mildred Pippin of Guyton, Nancy Milliken of Rincon, and Virginia Lewis of Guyton; seven grandsons, a great grandson, and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation is 2-4 P.M. Saturday January 18, 2014 at Olive Branch Baptist Church. Funeral service will be 4 P.M. Saturday January 18, 2014 in the church with Reverend Clint Sullens officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Flanders Morison Funeral Home of Pembroke is in charge of arrangements.
