Pooler-Mr. Marvin Richard Muncie age 55 passed away Thursday April 25, 2013 at Emory Hospital surrounded by his loving family. Mr. Muncie was an Army veteran and a Juvenile Detention and Corrections Officer. He was a member of Register Baptist Church and enjoyed motorcycles, fishing, antique cars and family time. He is predeceased by his father Thomas Meyers Muncie.
He is survived by his wife of 33 years Natalie Clark Muncie of Pooler, mother Faye Muncie of Dayton, Ohio, sons Richard Lucas and James Randall "Randy" Muncie of Savannah; brother Kevin Meyers of Dayton, OH, sisters and brother-in-law Karin and Darren Simmons of Dayton, OH, Kim Rockman of Mentor, OH, and Tabitha E. Muncie of Kearney, NE, and mother-in-law Bonnie Mock Clark of Pooler and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation is 10-11 A.M. Monday April 29, 2013 at Register Baptist Church in Register, GA. Funeral service is 11 A.M. Monday April 29, 2013 with Dr. Jim Correll officiating. Interment will be 10 A.M. Tuesday April 30, 2013 at Georgia Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Glennville, GA. Flanders Morrison Funeral Home of Pembroke is in charge of arrangements.
