Pembroke-Mr. Daniel P. Kells age 70 passed away Thursday April 11, 2013 at Hospice of Savannah. Mr. Kells was born in New York on October 25, 1942 but had resided in Pembroke for the last 7 years. He was Chief Engineer of heating and air conditioning with Blue Cross Blue Shield for over 33 years. He enjoyed Atlantic City, loved Horse Racing, was a Boxing fan, and was an avid fisherman.
He is survived by his wife of 36 years Alice Ambrosio Kells, step-son Frankie (Michelle) Wilkes of Pembroke, daughter Laura Wilkes of Queens, NY, brothers Jimmy and Billy Kells, and sisters Irene Webb and Margie Kells all of NY; five grandchildren Nicki, Logan, and Jesse Wilkes, Christina Church, and Michael Feeney.
Visitation is 3-6 P.M. Sunday April 14, 2013 at the funeral home. Funeral Service will be 11 A.M. Monday April 15, 2013 in the chapel of the funeral home with interment to follow in Northside Cemetery in Pembroke. Flanders Morrison Funeral Home of Pembroke is in charge of arrangements.
