Mr. Bobby Rogers

Ellabell-Mr. Bobby Lee Rogers age 73 passed away Monday December 31, 2012 at Brown Health & Rehab. in Statesboro. Mr. Rogers was a long time resident of Ellabell, and retired from Union Camp Corporation as an electrician after 42 years of faithful service. He was a member of the IBEW and Local # 508, and loved to hunt, fish, and vegetable gardening. He was predeceased by his parents W.E. "Bill" and Geneva Yawn Rogers and sister Vernelle Hearn.
He is survived by his wife of 51 years Linda C. Thompson Rogers, sons and daughter-in-law Robert Edward and Delenah Denmark Rogers of Ellabell, and William Randall Rogers of Tulsa, OK, and daughter and son-in-law Susan Amanda Rogers and Ted Lee of Sylvania; brother Billy James Rogers of Bloomingdale and sister Nina Sue King Cannon of Leesburg and grandchildren Cody A. and Amanda M. Lee.
Visitation is 5-8 P.M. Tuesday January 1, 2013 at the funeral home. Funeral service will be 12:30 P.M. Wednesday January 2, 2013 in the chapel with Reverend Mike Gay officiating.
