Pembroke/Reidsville-Mr. William Henry "Little Bill" Anderson, Sr. age 41 passed away Wednesday June 19, 2013 after a short illness. Mr. Anderson had lived all of his life in Pembroke and had been employed by Georgia Pacific Corp. for 21 years as a machine operator. He was a 1990 graduate of Bryan County High School, a member of Pembroke United Methodist Church and loved working on cars, and enjoyed drag racing and the NHRA. He is predeceased by daughter Courtney McKenzie Anderson.
He is survived by his wife of 8 years Christina Clark Anderson of Reidsville, parents William John and Mary Hamilton Anderson of Pembroke, sons William "Billy" Anderson, Jr. and Todd Anderson both of Ellabell, step-sons Gab and Tyler Roberts, Brandon Arnold, and Cody Denmark of Reidsville, daughter and son-in-law Katie and Aaron Cook of Pembroke; sisters and brother-in-laws Julie E. and Ronnie Howard and Rita and Donald Kiltz all of Pembroke, aunts and uncles Laverne Scott and Ernest Hamilton both of Pembroke, Marsha Thorne of OR and Brian Thorne of WA.
Visitation is 6-9 P.M. Saturday June 22, 2013 at the funeral home. Funeral service will be 3 P.M. Sunday June 23, 2013 in the chapel with Reverend Michael Huling officiating. Interment will follow in Lower Black Creek Cemetery. The Bryan County High School Class of 1990 will serve as honorary pallbearers. Flanders Morrison Funeral Home of Pembroke is in charge of arrangements.
