Mr. Michael Anthony “Mike” Jumonville, 56, passed away on Tuesday, February 21, 2017. Mr. Jumonville was born on January 5, 1961 in Savannah to the late Paul Peter and Mary Elizabeth Clayton Jumonville. He served 10 years in the Air National Guard having served in Desert Shield and Desert Storm and later worked for Bridges Wood Products for 15 years as a cabinet maker. Mr. Jumonville was a SiFi fanatic, very artistic with sketches and woodworking, enjoyed making miniature models, working in his yard, raising chickens but most of all, loved his family and loved life with his family.
Survivors include his loving wife of 31 years, Elizabeth “Liz” Renew Jumonville; son, Matthew Jumonville and his wife Diane of Ellabell; brother, Steven Jumonville and his wife Cathy of VA and twin brother, Mark Jumonville and his wife Robin of Savannah; sister, Paula Jumonville of Savannah; two sister-in-laws; one brother-in-law; two grandchildren, Trinity and Michael; several nieces, nephews and cousins as well as great nieces and nephews.
Memorial visitation will be held on Friday, February 24, 2017 from 4 – 6 p.m. at Flanders Morrison Funeral Home.
