Michael Joseph Jankiewicz, age 48 passed away Tuesday, May 29, 2018 at his residence.  He was born on March 2, 1970 to the late Joseph Jankiewicz and Linda Lynch Lanier.  Mr. Jankiewicz was the 1988 salutatorian of Bryan County High School, where he also played football.  In 1992, he graduated Cum Laude, honor graduate and received his Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Brewton Parker College.  While at Brewton Parker, he was the director of intramural sports.  Later he served as district manager with 15 years of service with Harvey’s Supermarket and served as manager at Goodwill.

Survivors include his son, Justin Michael Jankiewicz of Chicago; daughters Jordyn Jankiewicz of Atlanta and Jayden Jankiewicz of Ocilla; brothers Jeffrey Alan Jankiewicz (Cathy) of Hayesville, NC, Nicholas Todd Jankiewicz of Sioux City, IA; sisters, Marie Jankiewicz Molloy (Mike) of Aberdeen, NC, Nicole Jankiewicz Yarborough (Steven) of Daufuskie Island, Rebecca Sanders Kennedy (Ricky) of Pembroke, and Beth Sanders Whitfield of Nevils, and many nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, June 2, 2018 from 5:00 – 6:00 P.M.

Memorial service will follow at 6:00 P.M. in the Flanders Morrison Funeral Home Chapel.
