Mary Martin

Mrs. Mary Jane McLain Martin, 69, passed away at her residence on Wednesday, March 4, 2020. Mrs. Martin was born on November 21, 1950 to the late Robert V. and Charlotte E. Durley McLain in Evergreen Park, IL. She was a member of Holy Cross Catholic Church and worked for over 25 years as a secretary with Norfolk Southern. Mrs. Martin enjoyed riding motorcycles, target shooting, and collecting train memorabilia. She was a kind and caring woman who loved dogs, birds and enjoyed going to the beach.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, James McLain and her twin brother, Father Michael D. McLain and sister-in-law, Christine McDermott McLain.

Survivors include one brother, Timothy D. McLain (Dallys) of Sycamore, IL and niece, Kelly Schieler (Bryan) of Palatine, IL and grandchildren, Isabella and Kellan Schieler both of Palatine, IL and many nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.

A prayer service will be held at a later date in Fence, WI.
