Mrs. Martha Ann Harris, 77, passed away at her residence surrounded by her family on Friday, April 16, 2021. Mrs. Harris was born on August 5, 1943 to the late Joseph H. and Elizabeth Harmon Lee in Savannah. She worked for over 15 years at Georgia Pacific but most important, she was a loving house wife, mother and grandmother. She enjoyed watching the Atlanta Braves, Georgia Bulldogs and The Young and the Restless. Mrs. Harris also enjoyed traveling, bluegrass music, Elvis Presley and she was also member of the First Baptist Church of Ellabell.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Elton Harris; four brothers, Raymond E. Jenkins, Lawrence E. Jenkins, Lee Jenkins and Henry M. Lee and sister, Joann Burnsed.

Survivors include four daughters, Sandra Sullivan (Robert) of Ellabell, Deborah Crosby (Ken) of Pembroke, Loretta White (Craig) of Cobbtown and Bobbie Ann Bacon (Joey) of Pembroke; son, Elton Gene Harris, Jr.; (Kiyomi) of KY; 12 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren, niece, nephews and cousins.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, April 18, 2021 from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. at Flanders Powell Funeral Home.

Funeral service will be held on Monday, April 19, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. in the Morrison Memorial Chapel with Reverend Travis Cowart officiating.

Burial will follow at Lower Black Creek Cemetery.
