Lynda Meyer

Mrs. Lynda Phillips Meyer, age 68, passed away at her residence on Sunday, December 5, 2021. Mrs. Meyer was born in Augusta, GA to the late Charles Durham and Juanita Covington Phillips on August 25, 1953. She was formerly employed with McDonald’s as a swing manager, enjoyed music, loved the Bee Gees, loved animals and was a supporter of Peta.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband of 47 years, Timothy David Meyer.

Survivors include her two sons, Robert Christopher Meyer and his girlfriend Janet Sanders of Pembroke and Stephen Anthony Meyer and his wife Pearl of Pooler and six grandchildren.

Memorial service will be held on Monday, December 13, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. in the Flanders Powell Funeral Home Chapel.

Inurnment will be private at Georgia Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Glennville.
