Lulu Burst

Mrs. Lulu May Burst, 91, passed away at her residence on Monday, December 9, 2019. Mrs. Burst was born in Oconomowoc, WI on October 11, 1928 to the late George and Velma Cooke Dey. She worked for Jersey Central Power and Light Company as a Supervisor, and she also worked independently as a real estate agent. Mrs. Burst was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star of New Jersey, Molly Pitcher #198 Chapter and also served on the city commissioner board in Whitfield, FL and was of the Methodist faith.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Richard Albert Burst; granddaughter, Sarah Herig and step-son, Craig Burst.

Survivors include one son, Glenn Hoy and his wife Debbie of Delaware; step-son, Robin Burst of Freehold, NJ; two daughters, Gail Kellenberger of Bloomingdale and Sandra Hoffman and her husband Thomas of Brick, NJ; 5 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral service will be private.
