Linda Gail Horner

Mrs. Linda Gail Horner, age 67, passed away at the Resorts of Pooler on Saturday, March 9, 2024. Mrs. Horner was born in Swainsboro to the late Noah Covington, Jr. and Mary Lizzie Page Covington on May 22, 1956. She was a graduate of Bryan County High School and was a loving and caring house wife. Mrs. Horner was of the Baptist faith and enjoyed crocheting, quilting, sewing, gardening and spending time with her family. 

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Quinton Horner; son, Curtis Albright; step-son, Travis Horner; four brothers, Jack Covington, Bobby Covington, Billy Covington and Fred Covington and two sisters, Betty Powell and Margaret Kitchens. 

Survivors include three sons, Chad Albright of St. Louis, MO, Clinton Albright of Savannah and Micah Horner of Pembroke, step-son, Ira Horner of Enid, OK; step-daughter, Natasha Morgan of OH; four grandchildren, Kaleb, Clive, Ashton and Abby; five step-grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. 

Family will receive friends on Friday, March 15, 2024 from 10:00 – 11:00 a.m. at Flanders Powell Funeral Home.

Memorial service will follow in the Flanders Powell Funeral Home Chapel with Deacon Nathan Covington officiating.
