Linda Carol Goethe

Mrs. Linda Carol Goethe, age 72, passed away at her residence on Thursday, October 19, 2023. Mrs. Goethe was born in Savannah on February 14, 1951 to the late Robert Branson and Joyce Ferguson Branson. She was a member of Lower Mill Creek Primitive BaBaptist Church; she retired after over 30 years as a waitress, enjoyed shopping and spending time with her family.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Robert Branson and granddaughter, Ashley Goethe.

Survivors include her husband of 56 years, John E. Goethe, Jr.; two sons, John E. Goethe, III and his wife Teri of Pembroke and Robert J. Goethe of Pembroke; brother, Roy Branson of Cobbtown; sister, Joy Ann Bunn of Atlanta; two grandchildren, John E. Goethe, IV and his wife Hayley and Alani Goethe; great grandson, Harrison J. Goethe and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

Visitation will be held on Monday, October 23, 2023 from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. at Flanders Powell Funeral Home.

Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 24, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. in the Flanders Powell Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Stan Tyson officiating.

Burial will be held at Northside Cemetery.
