Mrs. Linda Lou Cruz, 67, passed away on Thursday, February 23, 2017 at St. Joseph’s Hospital. Mrs. Cruz was born on December 11, 1949 in Agana Guam to the late Woodrow and Barcilisa Salas Wildermuth. She was a devoted mother and homemaker, a member at Holy Cross Catholic Church in Pembroke, enjoyed to fish and was a volunteer for the Summer Lunch Program.
She is preceded in death by two sisters, Anna Gleason and Mary Jane Vallejera.
Survivors include her husband of 20 years, Joseph Cruz; two sons, Woody Mendiola of Guam and Aaron Mendiola (Shirleen) of Pembroke; three daughters, Genevieve Rabe (Loren) of Fairbanks, Alaska, Lora Mendiola of Pooler and Paullet Stone (Jay) of Hope Mills, North Carolina; brother, Albert Salas of Pembroke; three sisters, Barabara Anderson (Michael) of Pembroke, Karen Stump of Pembroke and Shirley Tolliver (Richard) of Tennesee; 19 grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, February 27, 2017 from 1 – 3 p.m. at Flanders Morrison Funeral Home.
Funeral service will follow at 3 p.m. in the Flanders Morrison Funeral Home Chapel.
Burial will be held at Northside Cemetery.
