Mr. Lewis Milton Beckworth, 75, passed away at his residence on Tuesday, September 19, 2017. Mr. Beckworth was born on February 16, 1942 in Georgetown, SC to the late Daniel Noon and Lucy Mae Hodges Beckworth. He worked as a dump truck operator for numerous years with the Department of Transportation, and was a member of Beulah Baptist.
He is preceded in death by four brothers, James Daniel Beckworth, Bobby Beckworth, Leion Beckworth and William Beckworth.
Survivors include two sons, Richie Alton Beckworth and his wife Theresa of Concord, NC and William Daniel Beckworth and his wife Barbara of Wingate, NC; longtime companion of 38 years, Martha Roberts; three brothers, Jack Alton Beckworth of Brooklet, Terrell Beckworth of Guyton and Ronald Gene Beckworth of Bulloch; five sisters, Martha Sue Wiggins of Ellabell, Nancy Smith of Oak Park, Elizabeth Cone of Bloomingdale, Brenda Sapp of Jacksonville and Janie Mae Fiorot of Fl; four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
