Mrs. Leona Elaine Boys, 73, passed away at her residence on Monday, June 29, 2016. Mrs. Boys was born on June 3, 1943 to the late Herman and Eileen Shell Taylor in Anderson, IN. She worked for Memorial Hospital in the day surgery ward as a receptionist, was a former volunteer firefighter with South Effingham Fire Department under Chief Frank Lewis and was a member of Sand Hill Baptist Church.

She is preceded in death by her grandson, Shane Anthony Boys.

Survivors include two sons, Edward Boys and his wife Minni of Hilton Head and Bobby Boys and his wife Ria of Bloomingdale; daughter, Kem Savage of Savannah; seven grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, two aunts and two uncles.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, July 2, 2016 from 1 – 3 p.m. at Flanders Morrison Funeral Home.

Funeral service will be held at 3 p.m. in the Flanders Morrison Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Royce Hendry officiating.

Burial will be private.
