Larry "Bubba" Kangeter

Mr. Larry "Bubba" Ireland Kangeter, 72, passed away on Tuesday, October 29, 2019 at St. Joseph’s Hospital. Mr. Kangeter was born on May 10, 1947 to the late George Ireland and Thelma Ruth Peck Kangeter in Toccoa, GA. He retired with over 30 years of service with Colonial Oil Industries, Inc.; was a member of Bethel Baptist Church, the F&A.M. and also a Shriner. Mr. Kangeter enjoyed fishing and hunting.

In addition to his parents, he preceded in death by his wife, Betty Yates Kangeter and sister, Patricia Branson.

Survivors include his companion, Brenda Washington of Meldrim; brother, Steve Kangeter of Claxton and sister, Janice Rogers of Ellabell.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, November 9, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. at Bethel Baptist Church Savannah, 1295 Little Neck Road, Savannah, GA 31419.
