Junell Winningham Edwards

Ellabell-  Junell Winningham Edwards, age 73, passed away Friday, September 1, 2023 at her home.  Mrs. Edwards was born in Vance, SC to the late Hesse Winningham and Mary Royal Winningham.  She was a nurse and caregiver serving over 40 years in home health care.  Mrs. Edwards was a native American of the Santee Tribe and was of the Baptist Faith.  She loved traveling, helping others and especially loved time with her family. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Edwards was preceded in death by one sister, Lee Ennis and one brother, Lawrence Winningham.

Survivors include two sons, Othell “Bubba” Warren and his companion, Lisa Morris, both of Ellabell and Thomas Edwards and his wife, Kylinda of Beaufort, SC;  two daughters, Matilda Sue Edwards Miles and her companion, Jesse “Her Honey” W. Sykes of Ellabell and Melissa Green of Savannah; one brother, Phillip Winningham of SC and Gilford Winningham of SC; two sisters, Ada Cathy Richardson of Michigan and Lisa Harris of Effingham Co.; seven grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.
