Juliette Todd Mears

Lakeland, Florida-  Juliette Todd Mears, age 78 passed away Wednesday, February 1, 2023 at her home.   Mrs. Mears was born in Hinesville, GA to the late Robert O. Todd and Mary Alma Price Todd Taylor.  She was retired from Intuit Corp. where she served as a customer service representative.  She loved her animals and was a wonderful seamstress.  She loved to sing and was an active choir member and quartet singer.  The most important things in her life were God, Jesus and her family.  In addition to her parents, Mrs. Mears was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond H. Mears, Sr.; brothers, Jareld Todd, Robert O. Todd, Jr., Herbert O. Taylor and sisters, Josephine Kato and Elizabeth Taylor.

Survivors include two sons, Lee S. Robinson, Jr. of Lakeland, FL and Raymond (R.J.) Mears, Jr. of Fredericksburg, VA;  two daughters and a sons-in-law, Heidi Lynn Melvin of Lakeland, Fl , Erikka Dawn  Jorge Fontanze of Lakeland, FL and Julian Figuroa of Lakeland, FL; one brother, Charlie Taylor of Lakeland; and three sisters, Mary White of Ellabell, Freddie Ann Crews of Baxley and Bernice Kipker of Harvey, LA; four grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.

Visitation will be held Noon until 2 P.M. Friday, February 10, 2023 at the funeral home.

Funeral service will follow at 2 P.M. Friday, February 10, 2023 in the chapel of Flanders Powell Funeral Home with Pastor  Mark Goheen officiating.

Interment will follow in Ellabell Methodist Cemetery.
