Judith Renea Hagan

We are heart broken to announce our sister Judith “Renea” Hagan passed away tragically at home at the age of 57. Renea was born on June 2, 1967 in Savannah, GA.

She is preceded in death by her mother, Betty Jean Rhymes; father, Ernest Hagan Sr.; siblings, Stephen Allen Hagan and David Earl Williams as well as her life long friend, Karyn Davis.

Renea was a retired landscaper with a passion for flowers. She had an impressive knowledge of gardening and wasn’t shy about sharing advice on common mistakes in gardening.

We’ll always remember Renea’s infectious laugh and unwavering spirit. Renea’s Chihuahua, Sassy and her Pit Bull, Romeo brought her so much joy.

Renea is survived by her siblings, Jonathan Hagan, Laura (Ricky) Jeffcoat, Linda (Kenny) Downs, Wanda Miller of Savannah, GA., Joseph (Stacy) Dixon of Winston, GA, Jerry (Tallulah) Hagan of Rincon, GA., Ernie (Patricia) Hagan of Pooler, GA., Charlotte Ciancirullo of Geneva, FL., Bruce (Elaine) Williams, Timothy (Rachel) Williams of Vicksburg, MS., Tammy Haile of Raymond MS., Patricia Gooch of Florence, Ms., James Williams of Bassfield, MS., as well as many nieces and nephews.

The family wishes to thank Earl Bashlor for being a loyal friend to Renea that spanned decades.

Renea will be laid to rest next to her mother in a private ceremony at Westside Memorial Gardens in Bloomingdale, GA at a later date.
