Mrs. Judith Elaine McCurry Parrish, 71, passed away on Tuesday, March 15, 2016 at her residence. Mrs. Parrish was born in Chattanooga, TN on February 3, 1945 to the late James Lafayette McCurry and Frankie Lorene Cole McCurry. She worked for Savannah Morning News delivering papers for over 14 years, was a member of Olive Branch Baptist Church, an avid seamstress and loved to crochet.
She is preceded in death by her husband Hermon Parrish.
Survivors include three sons, Kerry Wilford White of Groveland, Stephen Wayne White of Claxton and Ronal Keith White of Blitchton; two daughters, Terry Cathy White and Rose Kimberly “Scooter” Parrish both of Ellabell; two brothers, Claude William Lowe and Ronald David Lowe of SC; two sisters, Mildred Juanita Smith of Pooler and Martha Louise Curl of Guyton; 11 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.
Memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 19, 2016 at 11 a.m. in the chapel of Flanders Morrison Funeral Home.
