Journey Cobb

Ms. Journey Azalea Cobb, 6-week-old, passed away on Tuesday, November 1, 2022 at East Georgia Regional Medical Center. Ms. Cobb was born in Statesboro to Jessica Cobb and Sammie Byrd on September 14, 2022. She was a loving sister and daughter.

She is preceded in death by her maternal grandfather and Papa, Nathan “Buddy” Cobb, Jr.

Survivors include her mother, Jessica Cobb of Pembroke; father, Sammie Byrd of Pembroke; brother, Easton Cobb of Pembroke; maternal grandmother, Rachel Cobb of Pembroke; paternal grandmother, Audrey Bacon of Pembroke; maternal uncle, William “Chris” Warnell of Pembroke and maternal great aunt, Debra Shuman of Pembroke.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 8, 2022 from 11:00 – 12:00 p.m. at Flanders Powell Funeral Home.

Funeral service will follow at 12:00 p.m. in the Flanders Powell Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Dan Bryant officiating.

Burial will be held at Lawrence Baptist Church Cemetery.
