Mr. Joseph Steve Burnsed, age 65 passed away in Savannah on March 20, 2022. Mr. Burnsed was born in Savannah on November 15, 1956 to Joseph Leroy and Audrey Jean Walls Burnsed. He was a 1974 graduate of Bryan County High School and was a self-employed contractor. Mr. Burnsed enjoyed playing guitar and singing, fishing and spending time with his grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his mother, Audrey Jean Walls Burnsed and brother Mark David Burnsed.
Survivors include his wife Lori Burnsed of Upper Darby, PA; one son and daughter-in-law, David and Laci Burnsed of Pembroke; two daughters and a son-in-law, Shelia Burnsed of Germantown, PA and Amanda and Roderick Weinert, Jr. of Savannah; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Everette Joe and Kim Burnsed of Ellabell and James Leroy “Jim” and Susie Burnsed of Pembroke; one sister, Mary Frances Schmidt of Pembroke and 10 grandchildren, Kara Burnsed, Bridget Burnsed, Tyler Burnsed, Alyssa Burnsed, Khloe Whitman, Pyper Whitman, Khalea Bryant, Hans Weinert, Avah Weinert, and Maci Weinert
Visitation will be held 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. on Wednesday, March 23, 2022 at Flanders Powell Funeral Home.
Funeral service will follow at 12:00 p.m., Wednesday, March 23, 2022 in the Flanders Powell Funeral Home Chapel.
Burial will follow at Lower Black Creek Cemetery.
