Joseph Denmark, Sr.

Mr. Joseph Alan Denmark, Sr., age 58, passed away on Monday, July 11, 2022. Mr. Denmark was born on August 30, 1963 to the late James E. and Frances Helmuth Denmark in Savannah. He worked for Industrial metalworks, Inc. for 28 years as a sheet metal mechanic and enjoyed hunting, fishing, painting, creating metal art, listening to music and spending time with family and friends.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by two brothers, Ralph Steven Denmark and Jimmy Denmark.

Survivors include his wife, Mona Jean “Jeannie” Stallings Denmark; two sons, Dewayne Warren of Register and Joseph Alan “Jad” Denmark and his wife Kayla of Ellabell; daughter, Josey Lightle and her husband Joshua of Ellabell; three brothers, David Denmark of Savannah, Kenny Denmark and his wife Carol of Savannah and Danny Denmark and his wife Marla of Faulkville; best friend, Shelly Stubbs of Savannah and two grandchildren, Hayden Warren and Holdyn Warren.

Family will receive friends from 5:00 – 6:00 p.m. on Friday, July 22, 2022 at Flanders Powell Funeral Home.

A Celebration of Life Service will follow at 6:00 p.m. in the Flanders Powell Funeral Home Chapel.
