Pembroke- Mrs. Joan Norris Cannon, age 72 passed away Thursday evening, February 8, 2018 at her home. Mrs. Cannon was born in Savannah, GA on February 5, 1946 to the late Charles Malcom Norris and Rubye Sikes Norris. She was an inspector for the U.S. Department of Agriculture on the Perdue Farms for over 18 years and was a member of Emanuel Community Church in Lanier. Mrs. Cannon loved to fish, was avid reader and was a very intelligent lady. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her sister, Charlotte Campbell.
Survivors include two sons, Joseph Wayne (Vicky) Norris and Johny Adam (Scoshi) Norris all of Vero Beach; two brother, Rev. David Norris and Rev. Albert Hill; six sisters, Eloise Clark, Alberta Hamilton, Linda Hill, Barbara Jean Futch, Pat Barnard, and Dianne Futch; six grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren.
